With the new feature of self-scanning in the Swish app, 8.4 million active users can now scan items in connected stores and pay directly with Swish. Swish is known for its simple and minimalist design. Because of this, it has been important to maintain its simplicity in the self-scanning function, which can easily become overwhelming for the user with different types of product information and choices.
The self-scanning feature in the Swish app is presented in an interface so simple that anyone can use it. The function offers scanning of different types of products, payment and receipt, all in one app!
How to self-scan with Swish:

Enter store — Scan the store's own QR code to check-in.

Start shopping —Scan your items and check the shopping cart until you’re satisfied.

Pay with Swish — Pay directly in the Swish app and then you’re done! You get the receipt in the app.
An invisible feature, yet easy to find
The entrance to self-scanning is via the QR code scanner, allowing the feature to take up minimal visual space in the app. You can also scan the QR code with your normal camera, so there’s no need to find the right app. By accessing the feature through the scanner, users can quickly identify unique stores by scanning a QR code, eliminating the need for login or selecting a store.
